With a degree in Marketing and a 28 year career in financial sales, Jim Hancock knows how to sell. So when he wanted a career that offered him more independence, residential real estate sales seemed a natural choice. In 1999 he made the change and has been a success from the start. Since that time Jim has earned his Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) designation, considered "the standard in real estate professionalism".

Responsive and sensitive to his clients' busy schedules, Jim listens closely, reviews all available information, and develops a through needs analysis and workable action plan. Throughout the course of any transaction, his greatest strength is problem resolution.

He develops strong relationships with his clients and addresses each situation with calm and focus. Jim is particularly considerate of the emotions involved in buying or selling a home and as a result tries to be the grunding force for his clients. Born in Mississippi, Jim has called Houston home since 1972, becoming particularly familiar with Katy, Pearland, the 288 Corridor that includes Sienna Plantation, Shadow Creek Ranch, and Silver Lake, and the suburbs of West Houston. In his free time he enjoys golf, traveling, snorkeling, and playing with his Standard Poodle, Putter.
